The remote of our 20 year old Casablaca fan no longer controlled the fan. After Mark diagnosed a dead battery (yup-feeling stupid), we still couldn't control the fan with the remote. Mark provided us with instructions on how to resync the remote to the control board in the fan. And it worked! Mark quickly corresponded with us via emails and phone calls. I have had this Casablanca fan since 1993. Great fan and all of a sudden it stopped working. I could not understand why. I called everyone no one knew what was wrong. We have owned a Casablanca ceiling fan for over the last 30 years. It is a model with the Inteli-touch system as the fan hangs 12 feet above in our family room.
The fan was making a thumping noise with fan rotation, but was not wobbling. I emailed Mark and he diagnosed the problem as the flywheel having slipped down.
My husband was able to fix the flywheel and the fan is once again running quietly. We thank Mark for his time and help with this matter. We really like this fan and would hate to have to replace it.

Shout out to Mark at Casablanca, had a good old casablanca stealth ceiling fan that I loved so much that when I relocated to a new home I took it with me. I had to do a bit of remodeling and wasn't able to install it right away, when I finally was able to do the install the fan did not work 😕. After a bit of a run around talking to everyone who would listen, the hunter fan operator gave me Mark's phone number. Wow! What a helpful company and team! I have several legacy Casablanca fans -- actual 6 in my house. One of them had a "broken" light fixture. I emailed Suns Up with a photo asking for a "replacement" light fixture as Hunter Fans does not support "legacy" Casablanca Fans. Suns Up staff responded in under 24 hours. They stated that the light feature was probably not broken. They said the set screws were loose! We tightened the set screws. (I did not even know there were set screws!)
The light feature is working great! Just like it did when it was new. And the fan is more balanced now than before with the "broken" light feature.
So helpful and honest! (And they saved me money and time!)
They really know their Casablanca "legacy" fans! Wish all companies and staff were as honest and helpful as the Suns Up company and staff are. A great company and knowledgeable staff, too!

I recently bought a used Casablanca ceiling fan light combination. When my electrician came to install he told me that I was missing a piece to install. I called the company and received voice mail and a website. I immediately began to look for replacement fans because I figure I would never get in contact with anyone. When our Casablanca fan stopped working, I found this site for repair and sent in two of our wall units to be fixed. One had to be replaced and works fine now and the other was fixed and returned. It still would not come on. I emailed Mark back and forth and kept trying what he told me to do to no avail. Then he called and asked me to check the batteries to see if they were good and in the right place with positive and negative ends properly placed. Well, they must not have been - I didn't even check - but when I put them back in with the right ends where they should have been, the fan and light came on beautifully. I should have thought of the simplest fix of all, but I did not.
The very best thing about this company is that Mark ALWAYS returns your calls and emails and works with you to get it right. I really appreciate his time and patience. That kind of customer service is rare today. Thank you, Mark!

Our 25-year-old Casablanca fan was operating at only the top speed and we had been told that the electronics probably had failed. On the scheduled date for repairs, Mark, the technician, called ahead to say when he would arrive and arrived on time. Although we thought our problem required expensive electronics to be replaced, he quickly determined that we were merely using the wall switch incorrectly! He efficiently replaced the fan blades and ensured that the fan was in balance. My experience is that this company is experienced, competent, honest, and trustworthy!

Amazing customer service! I ordered a Simple Connect Conversion kit for one of my Casablanca fans that was not working. Installed it and power came back, but the blades would not turn. I emailed Suns Up a video and they helped me figure out that the flywheel had simply come loose and slipped down the rod. After loosening a set screw and pushing the flywheel back into place, the fan is up and running again. I have 7 Casablanca fans in this house and will always come back here for parts and service. My old Casablanca fan stopped working. I was trying to decide to either replace the wall switch and receiver or just buy a new fan. My 30yr old Casablanca stopped working. Sent it for repair and got it back in a week after they replaced the circuit board. After the repair, It didn't work at all. Contacted Mark who helped troubleshoot over the phone and by several text messages. The problem was with my wiring. The speed control wall switch stopped working. Mark was very helpful and this was on a Saturday .I then had a question regarding getting the canopy back into place. Again Mark had ideas about moving wires and wire-nuts out of the way. I have 4 Casablanca fans. If I ever have a problem I will call on Mark without hesitation.

I sent my wall remote to Mark to have him test it, he called me explaining the issues, I would need a new wall remote and a control board for my fan. He gave me a couple options but based upon what functionality I needed my fan to do he actually saved me $70 by custom programming me a board. It was as easy as plug and play and now my fan works again, best part is, now I can use LED bulbs in it and my current halogen bulb can be dimmed with the new controls where the original wall control only had on/off for the light. Our Casablanca fan stopped working about 5 years ago. I was looking into replacing the entire fan and light unit when my husband began doing some research into Casablanca ceiling fan repair. He contacted Alyssa and Mark. He explained our problem and since the fan didn't have a serial number on it, he sent pictures to help identify the model. The first replacement part did not fit our fan type. My husband contacted Mark again and he requested that my husband send our broken mechanism along with the incorrect one we had been sent. Have 2 identical fans purchased at the same time over thirty years old. Had a problem with the bulb socket falling apart. Took it apart and the light assembly part number was on it. Called Casablanca and because of it's age, they couldn't help me and referred me to Suns Up. Emailed the problem and part numbers that I had. Again they replied back quickly and told me they could not find anything on the parts and asked if i could send them which i did. The wall control for my fan stopped working and only turned the fan on and off....I couldn't adjust the speed. Our local fan store (Lewes Lighthouse) recommended fixmycasablancafan.com. I sent them an email, after reading their website, and they offered the opportunity to "contact" them. I sent an email relating the problem and within 5 minutes "Alyssa" from fixmycasablancafan.com responded with the strategy of trying to turn the fan on and off and then holding the "reverse button" and the "fan button", simultaneously, for 7 seconds, to reprogram the unit. On their recommendation, I ordered a new wall control and receiver to repair my casablanca fan. Followed their video for how to replace it, but it did not work. Sent photos of the wiring harness; and they knew at that point, I had an older fan. Mark knew exactly how to wire the new receiver and the fan was back in operation in 30 minutes. I have a 1988 Casablanca Saturn series, it finally went out on me. I was going to replace it 'cause of the age but I was told that it was worth fixing. I spoke to Mark Graham and he sent me the right kit for my fan. I saw the video and on the phone, he walked and talked me step by step (I'm not an electrician) and I got it fixed for less than $200, another 32 years. It was well worth it. Our Casablanca ceiling fan lost its speed and direction controls after more than 20 years of service (longer than we have owned the house). Thanks to Mark's help via videos and a couple of phone calls, I was able to repair it with a new circuit board and testing to confirm that the control switch is working properly. We have a 15+ year old Casablanca Meridian fan. The electronic control board literally burned up and partially melted. These guys had a replacement kit that extended the life of this fan. It was delivered in three days. I had questions about wiring because the old and new connectors didn't mate. I texted Mark who responded by text almost immediately. The texts became a little confusing so he called me and we squared everything away. Great job Mark! But wait, there's more .... after installing the new kit, it worked perfectly for a short while then the fan didn't respond to the wall controller. Immediately, Mark again to the rescue. He responded to my text message with directions to reprogram the radio control. It worked like a charm and the fan now runs lIke new. I had a problem with our Casablanca fan, to start it was 30 years old, but back in the it was top of the line. I couldn't seem to find out how to fix it, until I saw this site. I was told what I had to do, after I called, then sent in the control. I was hesitant, but did, I got confirmation they received it, checked it and said, it was bad and so was my receiver through tests of the remote. I ordered the new parts from them, they came quickly. I didn't get around to installing it as I wasn't sure how. Today I finally decided to do it. I watched the video's and it was exactly how it was. Until the remote which wasn't the same as the other remotes on the video, nor was it like the old one. So I hooked it up, but wasn't sure it was working, as the lights flashed and then I got basically nothing. So I called the number and left Mark a message, I also called the number on the invoice and spoke with Alyssa, who said Mark will call back he is on a job. About an hour or so later Mark did call, he told me what wires were what, and asked me to send him a picture of the wall outlet (there are other switches in it) he called back and told me where everything should be, (turns out I had it right the first time, but know how it should have worked) I did it exactly like he said, and everything worked perfect. I was more than pleased. I was glad I sent it off, got the parts, and got the peace of mind that they stood by their word and helped me resolve the problem. The fan, light is working great. A few years ago my older Casablanca Fan stopped working. I called Mark and he shipped the updated wall switch and in-unit circuit board. Everything came together and worked like a champ. A few weeks back everything stopped working- except the fan. One call to Mark and he walked me through the 'hard reset' of the wall switch. Of course I forgot the exact sequence. The installation: I watched the website video and learned that the actual installation would not be that difficult. The only challenge was that I would be 20 feet up on a ladder. The change out of the old board for the new took less than 10 minutes and back down on the ground I powered the fan, hit the re-set buttons on the remote and stood in dismay as the remote did not sync and the fan sat motionless. After several attempts to re-sync, I called Fix My Casablanca Fan (this was on a Sunday) and left a message for help. By good fortune, Mark was able to call me back in less than half an hour and we went through a number of steps to see if the fan would sync. Mark suggested that I set all the dip switches on the remote to the up position and try a re-set and if that didn't work - all in the down position. The remote synced and the fan works perfectly. I contacted Casa Blanca regarding an electrical problem with an older ceiling fan. Alyssa in customer service worked with me on diagnosing the problem and getting the part number for the items I need for my repair. Outstanding customer service! I have four Panama II fans with a W-32 wall controller; and after about 10 years, two of them stopped working properly. At first, when I pushed and held in the fan button to incrementally increase the fan speed from the slowest to a faster speed, it emitted a very short muted beep, but then there was no activity or response by the fan. Other times, when I pushed and let go of the fan button on the wall controller, it went straight to the highest speed setting and all you could do was to push the fan button again to turn it back off. Then after a while, they stopped working altogether, other than emitting a faint electric hum when the power to the fan was on. I was hoping there would be an option to get them repaired rather than buying new, but I wasn't so confident.
I reached out to Casablanca Fans and they referred me to Sun's Up. After my superb experience, I understand why Sun's Up is the first company they refer you to. I emailed a description of the problem and received an immediate response from Alyssa. She troubleshot with me over email and the phone; and ultimately determined that the receiver boards had likely gone bad. I sent in the wall controller, which tested out as working fine, so I ordered new receiver boards from them, which they paired to my existing switches. Everything was shipped very quickly. I watched the fantastic repair videos on their website, which showed exactly what I needed to do. After I installed the new receiver boards and re-installed the wall controllers, I was thrilled to find that the fans were once again working! Couldn't be any happier! Alyssa was fantastic! If I have any future repair needs for my Casablanca fans, Sun's Up will be my first stop!

We moved into a condo that had 4 Casablanca ceiling fans. Unfortunately the previous owner did not leave any information on appliances that were in the condo. All of the fan controls are mounted on a wall for each room. The fans were all working, but we could not regulate the speeds on the fan. After surfing the net, I did find out that the model numbers were on the top of the fan. I tried to enter this model number online, but without success. Finally, I found your website. I wrote a quick explanation of our dilemma. We felt we needed a service visit to have this problem resolved. Within 24 hours, Mark Graham replied to my email. He explained the simple process of how you have to hold down the control button on the wall and listen to the beeps which will regulate each of the 6 speeds. To be honest, I did not know that these fans had 6 speeds.
We don’t know how to thank Mark enough for sending us the info to regulate the speeds on our 4 fans. I can’t believe how simple the process was. . On my first try following his directions, I had every fan working through all of the speeds.
Your personal input saved us a lot of money in not needing a service call and I also have the information I need for these fans now.

I have a Ventura Casablanca fan that emitted a buzzing/ringing sound for several minutes after pressing the power button on the W-32 wall control. I emailed Mark describing the sound, and he immediately replied that the sound was due to a faulty receiver board in the fan. He specified the replacement board to order from www.fixmycasablancafan.com and provided an installation video. The board arrived quickly, and I noticed the label on the receiver board was slightly different from what was ordered. I made a few more email inquiries to make sure that I had the correct board, and Mark reassured me that I did. I installed the part with little difficulty, and the fan works like a charm. Mark and Alyssa responded promptly and patiently to all my email inquiries.

I have two Casablanca fans because I prefer the quality compared to the inferior products on the market. Both fans have the Itelli-Touch controls and the controls on one fan went bad. I searched online for replacement parts and was coming up empty until I discovered this website. The staff was very helpful with filling my request. Thanks Mark, for simple cheap advice! We have a newly installed Wisp 3 blade fan, whose hand held remote stopped working. I was looking for a new one, thinking being so new it must just be defective. This year, after having an issue with my Model C31U45B I was extremely disappointed that Casablanca sold out to Hunter Fan but it is what it is. I was further exasperated when I tried several service facilities Casablanca recommended. Not only is their now not a single service facility in Indiana, but the places they suggested either no longer answered their phone, or told me they no longer worked on Casablanca fans. One has to wonder why.
It is likely in the near future I’ll need another ceiling fan. My commitment to Casablanca has been shattered. Alyssa without any delay has responded to all my email requests and immediately provided all the information I needed…as well as handling an exchange of fans. Fate has its way of unprepared twists...it’s 93• F in the DC Metro Area! I press the fan button on our Casablanca Ceiling Fan! Wall Switch! The Fan comes on! Great! Only 1 problem! It is spinning about 400 RPM’s. I hit the power button on the wall switch this time! Nothing happens! I repeat this process numerous times! Nothing! nada! The fan swirls. AND SWIRLS! I call my homebuilder husband of 40+ years to tell him we have an issue! He says he will be home in 10 minutes! He arrives, goes straight to the fan’s wall switch! He tries several times. Pressing the same button that I pressed originally! He gives up! Says he’ll buy a new fan tomorrow! I go online! I Google Casablanca Fans! Up pops THIS beautiful website! I bought a Casablanca fan from a discount retailer over 6 months ago as one of three. After all this time I finally got to my youngest daughters room and put the fan up. The fan did not work and after a quick email, I received a response within hours. It was a suggestion to check the wires that go into the pug in the harness that is inside the light fixture. After removing the 3 screws that hold the light fixture on and disconnecting the harness plug and giving it a close inspection, I found the pink wire which controls the fan was not into the harness plug like where all the others. After pulling it through the zip tie to give a bit of slack I pushing it in further reconnected the plug and it worked great. Easy fix, didn't have to take fan down and took more time to carry the ladder upstairs then to fix the problem. Thanks now all three girls have beautiful WORKING Casblanca fans and no more recusals of favoritism.

Our Casablanca fans are 35 years old and the variable speed control has now failed on 3 of the 4 fans. When the first one failed, I went to the fan store where they were purchased and all they wanted to do was sell us a new fan. I found Mark's website on Google and he solved our problem with the right replacement part and installation guidance. Our last repair included working around a light kit. Dear Sun's Up Staff, I just repaired my Casablanca Stealth fan using your conversion kit. Thank you for your professionalism, support, and excellent repair video made by Mark. Your written installation instructions are fine but the video is the key in my opinion.Everything went smooth sailing except I messed up with the wire nuts at the ceiling so I kept fussing with the control switch and kept burning the new code over and over with no result. I finally decided to take down the fan again when I saw one of the connections had come apart at the wire nut. This time I use electrical tape to secure everything. Then it worked. We have a Casablanca fan that wasn't functioning properly and had called our home warranty company to repair it. However, they don't have qualified people to work on Casablanca fans. We called Mark Graham to get some ideas on how to proceed. He responded promptly to our call and was ready to come to our home the very next day. The home warranty company wouldn't authorize it without their non-qualified person coming to our house to diagnose the problem. That person was eager to replace our expensive fan with a cheap knockoff even before coming to our house. In our frustration, we called Mark again and explained the problem. He asked detailed questions and was kind enough to help us get the fan working properly again just by following his directions over the phone. Who does that nowadays?! Mark came across as an honest, knowledgeable person who was more interested in helping us out than making some money and coming to the house unnecessarily. I have made four receiver board or control switch repairs or replacements over the years on several of my Casablanca Panama fans. Initially I contacted Casablanca and was referred to Suns Up. I have always found the
to be responsive and extremely helpful. The first two replacements were a direct swap of the old style IT W32 switch which is a straightforward repair. When Casablanca changed to the IT-3 technology I contacted Suns Up and watched Marks video on You Tube. It's clear and complete. This last month I made my second IT-3 conversion on another fan that had given out. I again watched Mark's video and made the replacement. Incidentally I find taking the fan down makes it easier for me particularly for reassembly of the belly band and re-inserting the four screws. Days after the replacement I noticed we had Casablanca poltergeist. The "new fan" would turn on or the light would come on all by itself. I contacted Mark and as always received an email reply the same day telling me to move one of the "dip" switches on the new control switch. The switches operate on radio frequency and the default dip switch position is the same on all new out of the box switches. So my two IT-3 conversions were on the same frequency. When we operated one of the fans, the other would also respond without our knowing it. It's a simple fix and mentioned at 4:55 of Mark's video. After the correction my poltergeist is gone and both of the new IT-3 switches work independently. Thanks Mark!!

I sent him the model of the fan for which I needed a down rod, he requested pics to see the connection part, I sent them to him, and then he said that he had the rod, but all I needed to do was really cut the one I had and drill the holes, and all this in a very prompt manner and at no cost. We have had Casablanca Fans since the middle 1980's and I was devastated when our master bedroom fan stopped listening to the commands from the wall switch. After finding this website, we had hope and now since receiving the upgraded parts and they have been installed everything is absolutely wonderful. It took abut one hour to take the fan down, pull the control box from the wall, watch the self-help video on U-tube, and install the new parts. We now have what I would call our old fan back but it looks brand new and works that way also.
Timing was so wrong: from the Hurricane in Florida when Suns Up moved to Venice, Florida and our family being out of town for several weeks, when the parts were being sent. But the parts were where they were supposed to be and the installation video was so helpful, I would say it was a snap! My almost brand new Casablanca Charthouse began making strange noises out of the blue. I decided to video the noise to send to Casablanca when I discovered that Mark Graham was the authorized person to handle fan repair. I sent the necessary information to Mark who responded with minutes asking that I forward to him the video. Upon receipt, Mark indicated that there seemed to be something seriously wrong with the fan motor. Following his guidance, I contacted Casablanca reporting to them what Mark had told me. The original fan's wheel where the blade attached, had broken and so we took down another Casablanca in another room and replaced this fan in the living room. Mark at Suns Up gets 5 stars in my book. Here is my story. My 33 year old limited edition Casablanca Cambridge fan recently stopped working. I first thought that the Inteli-Touch switch went bad so I swapped it with one from another Casablanca fan that I bought at the same time and that I knew was still working. That was a no go. Thinking that the motor just finally up and died, (what can you expect from a 33 year old fan that was on virtually all the time?) I was going to replace it with a new Casablanca fan---only to learn that Casablanca sold the company to the Hunter Fan Company and online reviews were only so-so. But I did see that my fan motor has a lifetime warranty. So I called Casablanca and was told that it was probably the electronic board that went bad, not the motor---and they referred me to Mark at Suns Up. I went to his website and sent him an email. He called me back within a short time and after I gave him the particulars of my fan's model #, he too said it was probably the board and not the motor. I needed to replace the board and wall switch. I was skeptical -- spending money on a 33 year old fan. I asked Mark if would just make sense to trash my 33 year old Casablanca and buy a new fan. Mark told me that would be like owning a Rolex that broke and throwing it out and buying a Timex to replace it. Mark told me if the new board didn't work, I could return the part to him. But here is what sold me on spending the money on the new circuit board kit. Mark told me that if I decided to replace my fan, rather than throw it in the trash, he would take it and offered to send me a shipping label to send the fan to him at his cost. My fan had value? Mark told me the part number I needed. Well, then I thought how am I going to get the old part out and the new part in--I am only "quasi-handy." Mark said to look his video on his website-he said it's really pretty easy. (If you don't want to deal with that, you can even ship your fan to him and he will put the new board in-for an additional fee of course.) So I looked at his video and it takes you step by step through the process of replacing the circuit board in the fan and the new wall switch--and it did look easy. So I ordered the part and it arrived within a few days--and I watched the video again--and it was easy! I had a question during installation as I do not use a light with my fan-I sent Mark a text and he responded within an hour----and my fan is working again-maybe for another 33 years? Dealing with Mark at Suns Up was an excellent experience.
One note for you do-it-your-selfers-on the video Mark says that you can perform the conversion with the fan still hanging on the ceiling or you can take it down to work on it. I did it still hanging which can be a little strenuous on the arms. If I had to do it again, I would take the fan down as I think it would be easier to work with.

I first contacted the Casablanca Fan Company who said they no longer carried the fan blades that we needed for our fan unit because the motors are different now, that was almost the end of it until I pushed further and asked whether they knew of a place where we could still find older styles, the rep then told me about Suns UP.
Mark responded to my original email within a couple of hours of me sending it.... WHAT?! All other communication with them went the same, any lag in time was due to me. They not only found the blades, they gave me a couple of options on color and then had them at my house within a week or so of my first email! We have not installed our fan blades yet, I'm assuming we have the right ones, but I'm not even worried about it because I have faith that Mark and his employees would bend over backwards to make sure that we have the correct ones.
Please keep businesses like this strong by supporting them, it is almost impossible to find customer service like this anymore!

When turning on the light to my Casablanca fan the fan would stay on and I could not reverse it to the normal position. I tried turning the circuit breakers on and off and the fan still remained in the reverse position and the light stayed on high. I called Mark Graham and he was able to trouble shoot the problem over the phone, he made my day, as I thought the power control had to be replaced. Mark is very knowledgeable and told me that he had this information on this website, which I will visit for future issues. Now if I can only find a replacement lamp glass for my Stealth Fan (the place I purchased it said they no longer have that particular glass for my model). Thanks again, Mark!

We bought our white with brass Casablanca ceiling fan in 1996 and love it. Last evening the wall mount control would only run the fan on high speed. So I was trying to find out how am I going to get my fan to work. Do I need to replace the wall mount control? A google search took me to the site of fix my Casablanca fan. I read that seldom is the problem the wall mount control. I then went to testimonials and there in the second post from Vienna, Va was my answer. I found my way to Mark via Google. My beautiful, 20-year-old Casablanca Zephair table fan had stopped running. I removed the cage and blade, and mailed it to Mark via USPS. It was home in about a week, with a new wiring harness (Mark had replaced the old aluminum wires with copper wires). Now it's purring away like new. Emailed Mark at the behest of my local electrician, who had installed my original Casablanca fan back in 2007, after exchanging several messages, Mark insisted that i view his video on the reset function (for the remote) to my Bungalow fan; in the past this fan's board had failed three times over the last decade (even when i had Casa on the phone trying to troubleshoot it), never had i been able to restore the remote to control my fan..........guess that details do count for something, the minute we re-connected the fan, using his video's instructions, the fan/remote performed as it should.............only thing i regret is that i had bought another fan to replace this one due to the ongoing issues............Mark had no reason to assist me in this way, i was ready to buy another board and move this fan to another bedroom in the house.....integrity and honesty are of the highest order. My aging Casablanca fan in our master bedroom isn't used that often. Last week, I turned the fan on and it would only spin at the highest rpm's. I was convinced that the wall switch had a malfunction. I went on line to find a replacement ; only to find that the switch had been discontinued and besides the problem was more likely the fan mechanism itself. When I discussed this problem with an electrician, his recommendation was to buy a new fan. I went to a lighting store nearby and explained I was interested in replacing my fan, instead he gave me the card for Mark and Tamara Graham at www.Fixmycasablancafan.com. I left an email to their email address as it was past their company's hours. Early this morning, I received an email back from Mark stating that instead of hitting and releasing the button on the fan switch, I needed to hold the button down as the fan went through its various fan settings. Sure enough, that was the problem.

My 18 month old Casablanca fan would not turn off. My electrician diagnosed a bad switch over the phone. I called the lighting store expecting to be 6 months out of warranty for an expensive electronic switch control and prepared for another bill from the electrician. WOW! Mark is great! I was having trouble with my Casablanca Intellitouch 6644T fan speed it would only go full speed. I called the Casablanca Fan Company and they told me a way to reset my fan. It did not work. When I talked to the lady at Casablanca she gave me Mark Graham's phone number. After trying a few different things that didn't work I gave Mark a call. Two large expensive gently aging mercifully silent Casablanca fans kept my under-ventilated 21 foot high bedroom suite comfortable for 15 years, when Thing One developed a squeak. The first electrician called out-- not knowing there was such a thing as a Casablanca specialist-- spent a valiant 3 hours up on a ladder fiddling, rebalancing, and finally removing the light fixture. The fan continued to die slowly over 2 more years and finally seemed to arrest, motionless although not silent. Belatedly I was recently connected to Mark Graham at Sun's Up in Maryland; who showed up within 2 days, on a Sat (I work more-than-full time), fully equipped having previously eliciting the entire history from me. He called ahead to update his arrival time as promised (and was in the earlier part of his previously estimated time window),, was neat, efficient, courteous, and most of all, SUCCESSFUL in analyzing and rapidly replacing the errant parts. He carefully cleaned everything while he was up there, no doubt unearthing dust worthy of an archeologist. Thing One rose from the dead.
The second fan, Thing Two, needed minor adjustments for an early wobble-- this one being the access problem child, suspended over a 21 foot drop which multiple companies had told me would require elaborate scaffolding to reach, at an extra $400-500. Mark balanced precariously on his step ladder on the nearest balcony, managed to tug the suspended fan sideways, made the minor repairs, got the blades and body cleaned off, and restored it to out-of-box condition.
He finished with a brief review course over how to best use the wall control and clear explanations of what settings would best serve my purposes whether heating or air conditioning the huge space-- showing me things I had not learned in 17 years of living with the system.
His final bill was a shock-- the GOOD kind. He thinks I may never need to see him again-- or maybe not for another 17 years-- but I recommend him with wild enthusiasm for any Casablanca issue.

I bought an ldm from you sales #6348 and it didn't fix the non-operating light fixture. after hours of investigation and a whole lotta luck, i found the problem with my fan. as service people i thought you always like to hear about successful fixes. the problem was in the 4-pin plug that plugs into the ldm ( there is a black wire, a white wire and a blue wire). the wires are pinched into the pins of the plug and the black wire became unpinched! i will keep the ldm i bought from you because my original ldm has suffered from alot of heat damage to the board. i thank you for having what i thought i needed. the ldm you sold me looks like brand new. i'm happy doing business with you!

We have a Casablanca fan that is around 8 years old. The wall switch no longer was controlling the light but was still working the fan. An electrician came to fix it (which cost plenty) and we were told that the switch needed to be replaced. I called Casablanca to order a new wall switch but they don't make that switch anymore. I was directed to call Mark at Casablanca Repair and over the phone he told me that it couldn't be the switch and that it was probably the board in the fan itself. Sure enough, he came out within a few days and found that it wasn't a bad switch after all, it was the board in the fan. We were very impressed with how quickly he diagnosed the problem and responded to our call. Would definitely recommend him for any Casablanca Repair!

I cannot say enough about the quality of the service I received with a rather complicated issue with figuring out the right parts for a two-switch Casablanca fan. Mark Graham always returned my calls promptly, and he helped me both with understanding how to explain why I was entitled to a refund for the improper parts that Casablanca sent me, and also with the installation of the correct parts.
I had an electrician at my house on a Saturday to do the work, and he ran into a question, so I called Mark and left a message. Mark called back five minutes later and not only helped us resolve that issue, he also told us that we might need to do a simple workaround, and he explained what that involved. Sure enough, we needed to do the workaround. I finally have a fan whose light and fan work the way they originally did. These are great folks to work with!

I contacted S un ' s Up when my 30 yr old light fixture on my ceiling fan sta r ted to separate from the base. I sent pictures to explain and find out about repair or replacement. Dear Mark, I contacted you about my fan light tripping the circuit breaker every time the light was turned on. I identified the suspected defective module and texted a picture hoping that I could purchase the proper replacement part. You identified the part as the light limiter module and advised me that it would be the problem source as well as that the module was not necessary for the proper operation of the light. The glass globe on our Casablanca fan was accidentally broken. We were shocked to learn it was discontinued and replacing the glass became much more difficult than we imagined. After contacting numerous companies, Mark Graham was a savior. He responded right away and was incredibly professional and helpful. After some unexpected delays in our home renovation project, our new Casablanca ceiling fan was installed less than a week before our in-home warranty expired. Unfortunately, it was clear that something was not quite right with the fan given how loud it was when it operated. We contacted Tamara and Mark to set up an appointment (which was scheduled after the warranty expiration period), but they ensured us that Casablanca would cover the repair costs, which they did. We are proud owners of a set of 6 Zephyr Casablanca fans, made in the USA (remember?) ~ 1981. One of these fans died recently. I can say enough nice things about Sun's Up. I made my service request and within 24 hours they got back to me with a 2 hour time slot that day!. After not using our 15 year old Casablanca fan for over a year, we tried to turn it on and the remote wouldn't work. After the usual changing batteries, cleaning the terminals etc, it was obvious that a new remote was the answer. Only problem was that when I called the factory, this remote is no longer being made and no old ones were in stock. I was told the only chance I had was to contact Sun's Up to see if they might be able to help me. I was a bit skeptical because I am in Hawaii and it just didn't seem likely that I could get help all the way from Florida.
After sending Mark and Tamara my remote for possible repair and finding out that it was not repairable, they somehow found a new one and shipped it to me. With a quick back and forth email, Mark explained to me how to get it reprogrammed and our fan is now up and running!!

We have a Polyneisian Casablanca Fan... it must be at least 16 years old... they don't make them any more.. but my wife loves the way its just the right look for our den. It always had a life of its own... it would sometimes come on without touching a switch or the remote. Or, the light would not work... or the light would work and the fan wouldn't... we put up with it for years...recently, going thru some old papers I found the manual.. the manual indicated it was a faulty receiver. So, I ordered a new 505 Receiver and Transformer Kit. The new 505 receiver comes with a nine hole connector with the wires installed in it. The old 500 receiver was individually manually wired. I had to cut the nine hole connector off so I could manually wire it. Oh brother, now Ive done it! Which wire goes with what? I put in a question to Fixmycasablanca fan. Mark of Suns Up called me. Mark patiently explained over the course of three phone calls and multiple emails how to wire it up. I couldn't have done it without his help... and the President and CEO of the company. Tamara, who also answered emails. So, if you need help I strongly recommend Suns Up. They are terrific!

First A brief description of what the problem was. I have a Casablanca Gallery Series with lights. Every time I tried to turn it on the light potion it would start to flicker or not even come on . So I spoke to one of the service reps at casablanca and he was certain the reciever was the problem. Okay so ordered and installed it. Well same problem called casablanca again they told me to return the part. At which time they told me to call Sun's Up service repair. Spoke to Mark and told it was another part that was causing the problem and no parts are nessasary. Well it worked like he said and didn't ask for any payment what so ever. Mark was more concerned about the customer then trying to sell a part that was not needed. Casablanca should just direct all concerns about repairs to Sun's Up instead of wasting people's time and money on a part that was not the problem. Sun's up has the experience needed to do the repair and answer customers question.

June, 2016Electricians during recent home renovations took down our Casablanca fans and, at some point, the canopies were thrown away.
When it came time to replace the canopies, we searched multiple sites in Baltimore and DC and nationally on the internet for a pair of replacements. (classic white).
No site, including Casablanca's home site, had the canopies we needed. Tamara ultimately came to the rescue, literally packing a pair of canopies in her personal luggage and
bringing them from Florida to Maryland, actually hand delivering them to us on a Sunday morning before they were needed on Monday for mounting by the electricians. Can't beat that

GREAT Service! Followed his video. When I went to get the old wire clip off it was dry and brittle, one wire was broken off of the clip. I emailed asking if I could buy a new clip and Mark sent an email early the next morning telling me to wire nut it and send him a photo once I was done. I did that, got another email early the next day saying do a second wire on the clip. He also called me to reassure me if I did the second wire it would work. It did. Great customer service! I thought I needed a new remote for my fan, I had emailed and Tamara replied that she had the part. She followed up the email with a phone call to get my credit card info. While on the phone she had me do a few things to reset the fan and remote, we had it working within a few minutes! Our Casablanca fan would not turn on and we dreaded the hot summer months without it. Repair or replace? Mark came to our home and had it working better than new in a matter of about a half hour. Purchased IT3-86 to upgrade our Panama 5 fan in our dining room. We received the upgrade kit and when I installed it, after watching the video on this website, our fan was making a rubbing noise that it didn't make prior to this upgrade. I called Mark and he answered his cell phone & diagnosed that the flywheel had dropped down and told me how to fix this. Now that's customer service! The IT3-86 upgrade also works great too. We have four Casablanca Fans in our home (the fans were purchased and installed 25 years ago) and one of them just stopped working. We contacted the 'Fix My Casablanca Fan' site after a lengthy search on the internet. Lauren Graham called about our problem, offering either "fix it myself or in house service" options. I choose "in house service" as this is an older fan and I personally didn't think it was going to be an easy fix. Lauren made an appointment with us accordingly. Lauren called before arriving, she was on time for our appointment, the problem was more than I could have handled yet she was able to professionally fix it with both new parts and rewiring of old parts and then she cleaned up after herself (!). Professional service from a professional person (whom also has a nice personality). I have 9 Casablanca fans in my home that are all a fan/lite combination and are about 8 years old. The one in the kitchen went out on me in the middle of summer and I really needed it because we do not have air conditioning and depend on the fans for a breeze and especially in the kitchen. Being so far away in Hawaii I did my contacts with Mark Graham by phone and he was extremely patient, kind and helpful. With my description of the problem he thought it might be the remote control, but it later turned out to be the receiver board. Due to the fan being an older model I needed a kit (combo remote and receiver board) which he very promptly sent to me. He explained everything to me in layman's terms and said if I was handy I might be able to put it in myself. I am not real handy, but he explained how I could watch the video on his website and then try to do it. Mark: This is not necessarily a testimonial, but I just wanted to share some information with you. First, thanks for responding to my call about my need for instructions to operate the Inteli Touch unit. The directions on page 2 regarding the speed control answered my questions. Just a couple of other points regarding the 6 pages of instructions. First, the way the printing is set up, the instructions actually print OVER the letter head in many places. As such, I am unable to read some of the instructions clearly. Secondly, there are places in the instructions where the sentence is incomplete. For example, under the heading "Speed control", item #1 says," with the fan off, press and hold the button labeled (?). "As another example, in the directions regarding reversing the airflow, item #1 says " Make sure the (?) IS ON." Something is missing! Finally, on page 5 the instructions reference a "noisy fan". On occasion, my fan makes a very slight thumping sound. Not all the ti
- Most of the possible corrections stated refer to checking and/or tightening screws on the fan housing. As you know, my fan is 16-18 feet in the air because of the cathedral ceiling. I don't have a ladder that tall that will reach, so I don't intend to attempt to correct the thump.
Finally, Mark, I plan to contact you sometime in January, 2016 as we plan to come down to Florida for the month of February. I'd like to get some info from you regarding places, locations, etc. we should check out in Venice for future monthly rentals.

We had an old Casablanca Delta ceiling fan with a pull chain that ripped out. We left a message on a Friday requesting a service call to repair the chain, but also asked if they could raise the fan height, add a light fixture and a remote control switch. We made the original arrangements over the internet. This was necessary because a recent set of violent storms had knocked out electricity to much of the region. After electricity was restored, we agreed on a 2 hour service window and Mark called when he was on the way to our residence. When he arrived, he was friendly, efficient and courteous. The ceiling fan is 15 feet from the floor. It was taken down, repaired and replaced within about 15 minutes. Mark also gave us some tips about how we could more effectively use the fan to aid in our winter heating as well as the summer cooling. The price was as estimated. They run a first-class operation.

I had heard of several bad experiences from friends who had tried to have ceiling fans repaired. One even suggested that to save an extra service call I have a new fan ready to install just in case the repairperson could not fix the fans! She was very professional, always returned my calls, and gave me estimates over the phone for a service call and/or replacement of the fan's circuit board, if that proved to be what was needed. The night before the scheduled service appointment, Mark called me and suggested that I could save the time and cost of a service call if he could walk me through (over the phone) the process of rebooting my fan to see if that fixed the problem. And, in fact, it didfix the problem, saving me a significant expense! Mark was so pleasant, helpful, and honest, and his integrity was so appreciated. They have been in the in-home repair business a long time and handle factory repair/parts for Casablanca, as well. I would definitely call this company again, if needed.

We wasted $$ on having others look at our Casablanca fan until, of course, we joined Angie's List and discovered Mark and Tamara Graham of Sun's Up. If you own a Casablanca fan, one need search no further, but to call these amazing professionals. As promised, Ms. Graham called the evening before our scheduled appointment to provide an approximate timeframe. Mr. Graham - Mark - was on time, very professional, courtious, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He not only diagnosed the problem in record time but also should me all the various preprograming that could be accomplished with the new "mother board".
None of the previous personnel we had look at the fan were as knowledgeable and certainly not as timely in their visit or fixing the fan. Sun's Up will certainly be the first I will call if one of our fans has any issues.

Mark was great. I had two ceiling fans that needed to be replaced. He determined the problem and took care of getting the two replacement fans for me (as they were still under the Casablanca warranty). He didn’t charge me a dime and had to come to the house twice (once to assess the problem and once to install the fans). Both are working great and if we ever need any additional fan services or repairs, I will be calling him. Everyone in his office was professional and pleasant. I hadn't been using my fan or the light for several months; it worked so sporadically that I couldn't count on it and I wasn't sure that it wasn't an electrical problem that could be unsafe.
I had not known that Sun's Up existed and the few times I had called Casablanca they did not refer me to anyone. As a matter of fact I was not able to reach a live person at Casablanca.
I had paid over $700 for my fan several years ago; I had had it custom designed and really wanted to keep it rather than replace it with something cheaper.
When I found Sun's Up I decided to give it one more try and called; Tamara phoned me back within a couple of hours. Once I described what was going on, Tamara made every effort to work out a schedule so Mark could get to my house as soon as possible, which he did.
Tamara phoned me a couple of times to coordinate the day, date, and time, and then called the night before (last night) to confirm today's appointment. Mark arrived right on time. He not only fixed the fan, but checked out my other Casablanca fan, showed me how to use features I didn't even know I had, and checked two other fans I have in the house.
I couldn't ask for better service and now know I will be able to keep and continue using my fans for as long as I live in the house.

It went very well. The fans were still under warranty so I did not have to pay for the service call. Mark was on time and within two minutes of looking at the first fan, he knew that whoever installed the fans did not use the balancing tool provided with the fans for the specific purpose of eliminating any wobbling. He had both fans balanced within 20 minutes of arriving. Because the 2 fans are identical and have the same remote, he reprogrammed one of them so that each remote only controls one fan. Again, the electrician who installed the fans should have covered that base. I won't be using them again. But thanks to Sun's Up, I can now enjoy my Casablanca fans the way they were meant to operate, quietly and wobble-free!!

New Casa Blanca fan wouldn't reverse. Casa Blanca's warranty covered an in-home service and Sun's Up is the service company for my area.
I entered my details on details on their web page on Monday after lunch. Before dinner, I had been contacted by email and had an appointment scheduled for Thursday.
I was called the night before to confirm and Mark called a few minutes before arriving right at the appointed time.
Mark fixed the reported problem after about 15 minutes. Then I told him I forgot to tell him about a second issue (light wouldn't dim). Mark had to take apart the fan he just put back together. Another 20 minutes and everything was working right. Even though I wasted Marks time and he essentially had to complete 2 services instead of one, he then spent another few minutes balancing my fan which had a wobble.

They scheduled Mark to come out three days after my initial inquiry. He called the day before and again 15 minutes before he arrived, which was very considerate and appreciated. He was extremely professional and neat; donning cloth booties over his outdoor shoes before entering. He installed the new switch and circuit board in no time at all. He clearly knows his (fan) business, explaining that he is a Casablanca-authorized trainer of other service technicians. More important to me, he took additional time to walk me through the controls and the most efficient way to control the unit. The charge was exactly as quoted too.
I was very impressed and would definitely contact Suns Up again if I have problems with any other ceiling fans.

Mark offered, "Hi what your problem is, is the bulbs that you are replacing with our not reaching the center tab in the socket you will need to pull the tab out farther either with a small screwdriver or a pair of tweezers pull the center nipple of the sockets tab outward." He was right and it took me a couple of minutes to correct the problem. The fan light works perfectly.
I will call on Mark for any future problems with any of our fans in Albuquerque or Northern Virginia.

Mark came and diagnosed the problem instantly--bad circuit board. He had a replacement on the truck and repaired and tested it in a jiffy. He also changed the light bulb for me and dusted the fan and blades.
